Jacques LittrÉ

/ Lead Business Analyst, Securities and Asset Servicing Standards Development

Within the SWIFT Standards department, Jacques Littré is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Asset Servicing Standards both for ISO 15022 and ISO 20022. In this responsibility and for the last six years, Jacques is the chair of the Corporate Action maintenance working group at SWIFT and facilitator of the Corporate Action group for the SMPG (Securities Market Practice Group). Jacques joined the SWIFT Standards dept. at the end of the 90’s to contribute to the early definition and specifications of the methodology and tools to support the development of the new ISO 20022 XML Messaging Standards and was then responsible for the population and management of the SWIFTStandards Financial Dictionary as member of the Registration Authority. In 2001, Jacques contributed to the development of the new ISO 20022 Standards as co-chairman of the ISO TC68 SC4 WG10 Repository sub-group. Prior to joining SWIFT, Jacques has held various positions as project leader in the aeronautical, space and telecommunications industries, namely at EUROCONTROL, TRACTEBEL-Suez s.a. where he has managed communication software development projects for the European Space Agency (ESA). Jacques started his career as a Standards specialist for the promotion of ISO OSI (Open System Interconnection) protocols and has worked as guest researcher at the NIST (National Institute for Standards and Technology, Virginia) in the U.S. and also as protocol testing developer at the National Computer Center (NCC) in the U.K. Jacques is graduated from the University of Louvain as polytechnician (Electrical Chartered Engineer) specialized in telecommunications and from the Solvay business school with a post-graduate-level certificate in "Management of Financial Transactions Services".
