With a substantial background at several Corporate Action specific organizations, including Euroclear, Cantor Fitzgerald and UBS, Mr Collier brings with him a wealth of Asset Services experience. Michael Collier joined Deutsche Bank in 2009, responsible for the oversight of the Voluntary Corporate Action team, applying his market and product knowledge across equity and fixed income products. In 2013 Michael took up a role within the Market Advocacy space for GTB Product Management with the main focus on T2S and European regulation. In October 2016 Michael moved into GTB Investor Services Product Management to focus full time on T2S Client Products & Solutions. Michael is continuing his work on driving the European harmonisation initiative participating on behalf of Deutsche Bank on expert working groups such as the Corporate Actions Joint Working Group, Stock Events Working Party, UK Market Implementation Group, European Market Implementation Group, T2S Corporate Action Sub Group, UK Custody Working Group and the AFME Post Trade Asset Services Committee where in January 2016 Michael was appointed the Co-Chair. Within his role, Michael brings both experience and drive to market change, ensuring clients are informed and their requirements are met whilst supporting Deutsche Bank’s position at the forefront of market implementation.
